Agreement to terms
By accessing or using honoreverafter.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
What we are (and what we are not)
Honor Ever After is an online funeral planning platform. We provide tools to help families explore options, understand costs, and build a funeral or memorial plan.
We are not a funeral home, crematory, cemetery, or licensed funeral provider. We do not provide funeral services directly. When you are ready, we connect you with independent, licensed service providers in your area.
Our platform earns revenue from service provider partnerships. Our planning tools are provided to families at no cost.
Your account
You may create an account to save your planning progress. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update it if anything changes.
Electronic signature and provider consent
When you choose to share your plans with service providers, you will be asked to provide an electronic signature or initials. By signing, you authorize Honor Ever After to share your funeral plans with the specific providers you select.
This electronic signature is governed by the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and Florida's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Your electronic signature carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature.
You may revoke this authorization at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Revocation does not affect information already shared with providers prior to revocation.
Witnessed cremation certification
Our witnessed cremation certification service provides independent third-party observation and documentation of the cremation process. Our witnesses verify and attest to the following:
- The retort was inspected and clear prior to the start
- Positive identification of the deceased was confirmed
- Entry and exit times were recorded
- Remains were individually processed
- Remains were placed in a container and marked with identification
The certification is an attestation based on the witness's observation. It does not constitute a legal guarantee, warranty, or forensic verification. Honor Ever After is not liable for actions or omissions of the crematory facility.
Burial at sea partners
Honor Ever After partners with independent charter captains who provide burial at sea services. We facilitate the connection and provide a ceremony certificate, but we do not operate vessels or conduct maritime services.
Burial at sea services are subject to federal regulations including the Clean Water Act and the Marine Protection, Research and Sanctuaries Act (MPRSA). Families are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, including filing the required EPA notification within 30 days of the ceremony. Our partners can assist with this process.
Honor Ever After is not liable for the actions, omissions, or negligence of our charter partners.
Pricing information
Pricing ranges displayed on our website are estimates based on available market data for each service area. Actual costs may vary based on the specific provider, services selected, and other factors.
We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing information current and accurate, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of any pricing displayed on our site. Final pricing is determined by the service provider you choose.
Service provider relationships
Service providers listed on or connected through our platform are independent businesses. Honor Ever After does not employ, control, or supervise these providers.
While we hold our partners to standards including transparency, timeliness, and quality of care, we are not responsible for the services they provide, their pricing, or their conduct. Any agreement you enter into with a service provider is between you and that provider.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Honor Ever After shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform or services, including but not limited to damages arising from:
- The actions or omissions of service providers connected through our platform
- Inaccuracies in pricing or service information
- Technical issues, interruptions, or data loss
- Reliance on any information provided through our site

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Pasco County, Florida.
